Catalog description

An in-depth exploration of network automation. Uses DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Source Control and Orchestration to automate network configuration for devices traditionally configured via CLI. Students will learn to automate network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks by leveraging libraries, playbooks and/or recipes. Emphasis is placed on integrating these tools to solve complex network challenges while adhering to best practices for security and version control. Prerequisite: CIT 225 , CIT 281 , and CIT 284 .
