Catalog description

This course introduces the principles of object-oriented programming in a higher-level programming language. Practical use of classes, objects, methods, data abstraction, inheritance and polymorphism. Hands on experience includes how to write, test, correct, and refine effective code that solves a business problem. Prerequisite: ACT Math score of 18 or higher, or SAT Math score of 470 or higher, or completion of MTH 025 (or higher).
