Applied Communication Capstone

Catalog description

This course brings together students’ study of communication and integrates their liberal education at Miami by applying their understanding of communication to produce an original product/outcome through a student-initiated project. This project can potentially include a small-scale research study (from a quantitative or qualitative perspective) or another product/outcome deemed appropriate by the instructor. The goal of this student-initiated project is to integrate students’ knowledge acquired over the course of their undergraduate experience and to create a completed work that communicates the students’ ideas to a wider audience. SC. Prerequisites: APC 363 , APC 361 or STC 262 , and senior standing.
