Catalog description

This course is intended to assist students with the development of decision-making and problem-solving skills through data analysis. Specifically, ACC 495/ACC 595 is focused on students reviewing and applying the concepts of the scientific method within a business domain. The course is focused around broad cases and a student project where student inquiry is required to define the research question, specific hypotheses, methods and data for hypothesis testing, development of recommendations and communication of findings. Collaboration with the student and outside individuals for the student project is a key expectation. SC. Prerequisites: FSB Business Core - ACC 221 , 222 ; ECO 201 , 202 ; MGT 291 ; MKT 291 ; FIN 301 ; ISA 235 .
