Advancing Justice in Organizations and Communities is an advanced integrative practice class. This course builds upon the foundational generalist social work education. This course is fundamental to your development as a social work leader, providing practical leadership and organizational management to thoughtfully create and sustain social work programs in organizations and communities. Learning objectives focus on strategic leadership, introducing learners to management, assessment, strategic analysis, development, planning, execution, and evaluation. Synthesis in the course takes place when the learner has the capacity to implement culturally-responsive and evidence-informed theories to develop and support programming focused on socially-just organizational and community interventions.
