SLHS 6000SLP Clinical Skills Lab

Prerequisite(s): SLHS 5310 with a B- or above Corequisite(s): SLHS 6100 Students gain experience with entry-level clinical skills required for speech-language pathology service delivery through a guided skills laboratory. Following individual and group-based instruction and practice, students are evaluated for skill acquisition through structured clinical examinations. Students participate in multimodal instruction, skill practice, and evaluation of clinical competency. Note: Students must achieve a 3.0 or better on clinical competency rating scales in order to pass skills lab.
