Prerequisite(s): None This course enables performers to develop rehearsal and performance practices under the guidance of a skilled professional collaborative pianist. The duo between pianist and orchestral instrumentalist or vocalist is the most common instrumentation in Western art music and represents a cornerstone of a performer’s learning experience. The course culminates with formal presentations of the music prepared by the student and faculty pianist. The student and collaborative pianist will work in conjunction with applied studio teacher.
