Co-requisite(s): MTH 1082 General Studies: Quantitative Literacy This course is equivalent to MTH 1080 Mathematics for Liberal Arts, but with a co-requisite lab that provides supplemental academic instruction. The course is an introduction to the spirit and methods of mathematics. It includes problem-solving strategies, introductory financial mathematics, probability, statistics, and other topics demonstrating the interdisciplinary applicability of mathematics.
