Prerequisite(s): None General Studies: Oral Communication Elementary Korean I is designed for students who have no prior knowledge in Korean. It emphasizes the development of four basic skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) in various socio-cultural contexts. The course can serve as the first half of a two-semester sequence in Beginning Korean and is designed to match the curriculum requirements of existing Asian Languages and Cultures programs.
