Prerequisite(s): CS 1030 and CS 2050 with a C- or above This course explores software development as a collaborative activity between humans and AI systems. Moving beyond basic prompt-engineering, students will treat generative AI not merely as a tool, but as a semi-autonomous teammate whose work must be directed, verified, and trusted before integration. Through project-based work, students will experiment with collaboration models, a spectrum of autonomy, and frameworks for verification and trust. The course also addresses responsibility, failure modes, ethical implications, and the critical human judgment required in AI-augmented environment.
