Prerequisite(s): None General Studies: Social and Behavioral Sciences This course introduces students to the study of organizational communication theory and practice. It surveys communication-related phenomena such as organizational identity, culture, leadership, and networks. Internal, external, everyday, and strategic communication processes are addressed. Students learn to analyze organizations as systems of communication that both shape and are shaped by individuals and society.
