Prerequisite(s): None Students in this course are introduced to a broad range of three-dimensional art and design techniques, material practices, and concepts. Students work hands on with these fundamentals in a supportive environment of experimentation and discovery. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking and creative problem solving through investigations of form and content in three-dimensional space. Students move from divergent modes of thinking and working to convergent culminating activities, resulting in a series or body of work appropriate for the Foundations level.
