Prerequisite: FAA Flight Engineer Knowledge Exam and/or Permission of Instructor Students engage in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pilot training under Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 61 or Part 141 towards a Certified Flight Engineer Certificate or Aircraft Type Rating. Students receive course credit after obtaining the FAA Flight Engineer Certificate or an Aircraft Type Rating. Note: This course cannot be certified for veteran benefits.
