Students will learn networking basics, including data transmission, OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, protocols, and network topologies. This course covers both physical and cloud-based environments, equipping students with a foundational understanding of core networking concepts essential for advanced studies in network implementation. This course aligns with key objectives and can help students prepare for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. NOTE: Students must receive a C or better in this course to enroll in a INFO 2023 orcapstone course.
