Catalog description

Students learn about the refrigerant cycle and the "reverse cycle" principle, including the reversing valve. Special components and accessories used within heat pumps are covered in-depth. This course emphasizes combination heating and cooling systems. Students study natural gas, electric heating systems, air conditioning and heat pump systems as they relate to the refrigerant aspect of the heating and cooling systems.
