Catalog description

Students examine current challenges and opportunities in healthcare systems, use design thinking to identify and analyze problems, and develop creative solutions. Emphasis is placed on conducting needs analyses, building action plans, and outlining the steps from concept to prototype. Topics include technology, process improvement, regulatory and equity considerations, and strategies for communicating proposals through written and oral pitches.
