Catalog description

Students learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective Health and Wellness Coaches. Emphasizing evidence-based strategies, students explore core coaching theories, models of behavior change, and client-centered communication techniques. Students identify and apply the theories to foster client engagement, facilitate interventions, and sustainable behavior change. This course introduces foundational principles aligned with The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).
