Catalog description
Study of predictive analytics and how to apply statistical tools and methods on historical and current datasets and multi-domain cases previously analyzed for the purposes of yielding accurate inferential and predictive analytic results. Apply advanced and emergent statistical tools and methods, while modeling practices and processes, that facilitate the maturation of organizational analytic capabilities toward a desired future state. Predict analytical outcomes that are repeatable, and consistent with hypotheses, which lead to improved business decisions. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CIS215, CIS256, CIS256DA, CIS316 and GBS220, or permission of Instructor.
