Catalog description

A structured work-site learning experience in which the student, program area teacher, Work-Based Learning Coordinator and work-site supervisor/mentor develop and insure the student is proficient in general and job specific competencies. Section 9: Course Descriptions 427 This experience is designed to integrate the student's academic and technical skills into a work environment. 1-3 semester credit hours awarded for a 3-9 hours per week externship.
