Catalog description
This course examines the developmental and relational needs and problems of children, to include the transition to adolescence. The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the process of conducting assessment-based family therapy with children and adolescents as a means of facilitating healthy development and systemic change. The knowledge-based course is focused on models, diagnostic and intervention skills, research, and critical issues of systemic therapy with children and adolescents.
