Catalog description

This laboratory-based course is designed to teach students technical procedures frequently encountered in primary care, emergency medicine, and surgical settings such as sterile technique, intravenous cannulization, suturing, urethral catheterization, and endotracheal and nasogastric intubation. Key concepts will be discussed in lectures, demonstrations and supervised laboratory practice.
