Advanced Health Assessment

Catalog description

Providing the foundation for patient assessment across the lifespan, this course explores history taking within a cultural context. Combining data derived during comprehensive evaluation of physical, psychological, developmental, spiritual, and occupational data, students develop working and differential diagnoses. Risk assessment, evidence-based practice approaches, and health promotion are stressed. Offered Fall Semester.
