Medical Surgical III Clinical and Simulation Experience

Catalog description

This course is the last of three medical surgical courses using a clinical and simulated experience that explores the alterations to the health of clients across the adult lifespan. Continued emphasis will be placed on the role of the professional nurse using clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to provide client centered outcomes for optimal health in clients with the complex conditions in the clinical and simulated setting. This course contains 90 hours of a clinical experience. 78 hours will be completed in a clinical experience and 12 hours will be completed in simulated experience.
