Catalog description

This course focuses on evidence-based nursing care of infants, children, adolescents and women, parents and newborns. Information from liberal arts, information technology and all courses in the nursing curriculum are applied to maternity and pediatric situations. Current therapies and interventions will be discussed and evaluated. Patient outcomes will be used to determine effectiveness of nursing care. Offered fall semester only.
