Character Education in the Classroom

Catalog description

The focus of this course is the development of moral and ethical behavior in students and the role educators play in that development. Participants will identify character traits that are important in both school and life. They will explore theories, identify skills that can be integrated into the classroom, create lesson plans, and assess the value of promoting character development in students.
