Catalog description

This is an advanced course designed for master's students who are already teachers of record. The course examines effective practices for the teaching and learning of mathematics and science, which integrate technology, particularly the SMART Board and Web-based simulations and excursions. The course places a particular emphasis on the needs of teachers and students as mandated by the Common Core Mathematics Standards and the associated grade level tests. NOTE: Suitable settings for this course are online or in a SMART college classroom, preferably a classroom with a SMART Board.
