Catalog description

This course focuses on a variety of teaching methods, materials, and instructional strategies that teachers can use to assist learners with mild to moderate disabilities across a variety of educational settings. Candidates will develop a series of three in-depth lesson plans and supporting materials based on a wide selection of differentiated instructional strategies. We will pay particular attention to the selection, differentiation, and use of strategies and materials that support the learning of students with exceptional learning needs as well as those from culturally diverse backgrounds.
