Catalog description

This course provides students with advanced skills in Excel and other tools and techniques to demonstrate data analytics, visualizations, automation functions, and presentation competencies necessary to operate effectively in today’s business environment, and make meaningful contributions to the accounting profession, while meeting the challenges of lifelong learning. A group presentation project that merges analytics and visualization knowledge with research abilities is required, and an ethical element to assessing business situations using visualizations is also addressed. 3 semester hrs, 3 credits.
