Catalog description

This course explores the legal, ethical, academic, behavioral, and practical applications needed to fully educate students with special needs in the classroom. This course studies specific strategies in reading and math along with special instructional tools needed to address the needs of students who are at-risk or use ESL. A focus on the development of adaptations for communication and interacting with parents, paraprofessionals, and service providers will be explored.
