Catalog description
This course addresses the importance of supply chain management in improving an organization's profitability and ensuring its survival. It analyzes the relationship to and impact on marketing through the quality of a firm's products, the firm's ability to launch new products in a well-timed manner, the pricing of a firm's product based on its internal cost structure, and its ability to meet demand and generate sales. It addresses key management concepts such as cross-functional teams, team building, decision making goals, and more. Further, it addresses the supply chain's contribution to the total value provided to the customer.
