Catalog description

This course prepares students for administrative practice by integrating nursing science with principles of social justice, ethics, and legal aspects in various healthcare settings. Strategies are identified to lead the healthcare team through complex ethical and legal issues related to emerging information and patient care technologies. Students analyze the relationships among ethical, legal, and regulatory issues in order to advocate for social justice, equality, and the development of ethical polices at the organizational and systems levels.
