Catalog description

Students investigate the biological basis for physiological diseases differentiating normal lifespan changes, benign variations and pathology. Students explore principles of clinical pharmacology with an introduction to harmacotherapeutics necessary to manage patients' disease processes across the lifespan. This course includes 40 hours of clinical practice of pathophysiology and pharmacology skills with a nurse practitioner.
