Catalog description

This course focuses on the impact of quality, safety, and performance in organizations. Students will develop skills to manage and ensure safety and quality within the various healthcare organizations. Students will explore evidenced-based strategies for improving quality in the healthcare system, as well as the agencies that are focused on ensuring that quality and performance are met within the organization. Through this course, students will engage in 20 hours of experiential learning activities.
