Catalog description

This course explores the theoretical foundations of management and its applications to nursing practice at all levels. Students critically examine the process of nursing management in healthcare. Students will examine the role of nursing administration as it relates to Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice. This course will also delineate various change management models. In addition, students will explore the challenges facing nursing administration regarding all-hazard preparedness.
