Catalog description
Professional Nursing Practice prepares nurses transitioning to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) role for the dynamic nursing landscape and complexities of modern healthcare. This course examines the evolving role of nurses, the impact of healthcare policy and laws that shape the profession, and the roles and responsibilities of the interdisciplinary team. Through this course, students are challenged to explore professional nursing writing skills, evidence-based practice, lifelong learning, and personal wellness.
