Catalog description

This course introduces the student to the concepts of creating customer value and satisfaction; positioning for competitive advantage; consumer markets, business markets and buyer behavior; marketing research and information systems; and the role of marketing in the strategic planning process. An understanding of the theoretical and applied aspects of marketing knowledge sharpens a student's analytical skills for critical thinking and enables him/her to communicate effectively.
