Catalog description
This course is intended to provide students with a general perspective on computers and their role and other technology related areas. The course provides an introduction to various common software packages (for example: word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation graphics), a history of computers, basic hardware components, commonly used number systems, logic, and algorithmic development. The course includes a required 1 hour laboratory component.
