Catalog description

This course is designed to provide foundational knowledge in evidence-based practice, research methodology, the role of research within the profession of athletic training, and professional behavior expectations, responsibilities, and techniques in the healthcare professions. Students will gain knowledge of data gathering programs and interdisciplinary research. Students will use the topic identified in ATH 601 to complete a research project proposal including a topic introduction, literature review, methodology, and IRB review.
