Clinical Integration I

Catalog description
Under the supervision of a preceptor, students will demonstrate clinical skill proficiencies while integrating knowledge into clinical decision making during the performance of direct patient care. Specifically, clinical practice will focus on the fundamentals of prevention, immediate and emergent care, and therapeutic intervention. As students display competence with/through the Clinical Integration Proficiencies in Athletic Training, they will be given increased responsibility in directly working with patients. Students must complete a minimum of 120 clinical hours during the course. Students must pay (regiser) and complete the ACES workshop offered during the courses.
