Catalog description
Network+ Certification Prep covers intermediate and advanced information on installing, configuring and troubleshooting computer networks. It covers a wide range of material, including local area networks, wide area networks, protocols, topologies, transmission media and security. The course helps prepare students for the industry-endorsed Network+ certification exam offered by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). It may be repeated once for a maximum of 6 credit hours. (1.2-Articulated) NOTE: This course contains material that is especially challenging and extremely technical. On successful completion of the 16-week course, students should be prepared to take the exam necessary for Network+ certification.
