New Orleans Jazz Band is a small instrumental ensemble that provides students at various levels of musical proficiency, the opportunity to perform jazz, ragtime, blues, and gospel music. Emphasizes sight reading and musicianship at various levels of musical proficiency, and develops instrumental skills and musical understanding. Students may repeat this course three times for a maximum of 4 credit hours. Course Note: This course requires basic reading.
