Catalog description
Legal Studies Internship provides advanced students with supervised, practical experience applying legal professional skills within selected law firms, corporate legal departments, or government agencies. Students maintain a reflective journal, participate in online discussions with other interns (if available), and submit a final report evaluating their internship experience. Internships are generally completed during a student's second year of study and may be paid or unpaid. Credit is awarded based on time spent: 75 clock hours = 1 credit hour. Enrollment is limited to degree-seeking students in the Legal Studies Program. The course may be repeated twice for a maximum of six credit hours under this course number. NOTE: This course requires advanced reading, advanced writing and basic math.
