Catalog description
Biomechanics of Exercise studies theoretical aspects of the sciences associated with physical activity. The course looks at exercise from a biological, anatomical, biomechanical and kinesiological perspective. Students explore the dynamics of the movement sciences and their application to human performance and training. (1.1-Articulated) NOTE: Students pursuing the AAS or Exercise Specialist Certificate are strongly encouraged to complete this course during their first semester. This course requires basic reading and basic writing.
