Introduction to Soil Science covers a range of topics: the chemical, physical and biological properties of soils; the origin, classification and distribution of soils and their influence on people and plant production; the management and conservation of soil and water resources; and the environmental impact of soil use. (1.1-Articulated) [IAI Major Course Equivalent: AG904] NOTE: This course requires intermediate reading, intermediate writing, and intermediate math.
