Catalog description
Electronic Health Records (EHR) introduces students to the history, concepts and operations of EHR. Students will perform a variety of hands-on exercises and learn the importance of data entry at the time of care, electronic orders, problem lists, results management, flow sheets and trending. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy and security regulations of health records are emphasized. (1.2-Articulated)
