Catalog description
Beginner French I takes an active approach to learning French. In addition to traditional course materials, students explore French culture through literature, cinema and music. The course aims to build a solid vocabulary and grammatical foundation, and an understanding of basic French conversation. (1.1-Articulated) NOTE: Those students who are native speakers or who have advanced language skills are highly encouraged to take placement testing in the Testing Center.
