Catalog description
History of Photography traces the development of photography as an art form from 1839 to the present. It includes critical analysis of types of photographs for their aesthetic and humanistic values, emphasizing photographs as expressions of the ideas and beliefs of photographers within their cultural and social contexts. (1.1- Articulated) [IAI Core Course Equivalent: F2 904 ] NOTE: This course requires advanced reading and intermediate writing.
