2D Design explores the fundamental formal systems and basic elements of visual organization. Includes two-dimensional design principles and theories using a variety of media. Course includes vocabulary development, critical analysis activities, and reference to contemporary and historic models of design. (1.1-Articulated) [IAI Major Course Equivalent: ART907] NOTE: This course requires basic reading, basic writing, and basic math.
