Catalog description

Animation Techniques I applies the fundamental principles of animation through independently developed short projects. Students use both hand-drawn and digital tools to solve visual and narrative problems, integrating timing, motion, and composition into original animated sequences. Course includes vocabulary development, critical analysis activities, and reference to contemporary and historical models of animation practice. (1.2-Articulated) NOTE: This course requires basic reading, basic writing, and basic math.
