Catalog description
Agriculture Internship II provides students with an opportunity to apply and expand newly acquired skills in a work environment. The internship can be completed either on-campus at the MCC Student Farm or off-campus at an approved agricultural business/organization. The course is carried out cooperatively among the student, the instructor, and the student's employer/manager. Periodic review sessions will be held to assess student progress, address problems, and review appropriateness of work involvement. Students must complete 160 clock hours to receive the 2 credits. It may be repeated twice for maximum of 6 credits. NOTE: Student is responsible for arranging the internship schedule with the Farm Director/employer before the start of the semester. This class requires basic reading, basic writing, and intermediate math.
